MORRIS PARK A BALLOON TESTING GROUND GROUNDNew New York September 17 The old Morris Park race course has been adopted as the club site and testing grounds of the Aeronautical Society which announced that from today on monoplanes and heli ¬ copters will spin along daily above the grassgrown track where the thoroughbreds struggled for vic ¬ tory Some of the old quarters have been turned Into machine and carpenter shops where air craft of all sorts of queer designs are put together Out on the field are two structures from which single rails are laid across the turf This apparatus is to give a flying start to ambitious experimenters The clubhouse has been convert ed into the home of tlio Aeronautical Society and Its walls are covered with photographs of airships and dirigible balloons
