j CORRIGAN THINKS HEASLIP MISUNDERSTOOD. Lexington. Ky., November 30. Edward Corrigan said this afternoon that Mr. Heaslips remarks at New Orleans concerning the future of City lark had evidently been misconstrued. "What Mr. Heas-lip intended to say probably was that the lease of tho Citv Park track by the City Park Jockey Club had expired." said Mr. Corrigan. "and that the plant now reverts to the control of the New Orleans Jockey Club. I am sure he did not mean It to be understood that the track would be cut up into building lots, for there is no such plan in contemplation. As to whether there will or will not be rac ing there this winter, I cannot sav at this time " J. 15. Respess arrived here tonight from Cincinnati and will have a talk with Mr. Corrigan tomorow morning.
