WOULD REPEAL TENNESSEE LAW LAWLexington Lexington Ky February 7 Personal letters re ¬ ceived here during the past fortnight bring tidings of a wellorganized and businesslike campaign for the revival of racing in Tennessee in 1011 Sign tures of substantial citizens in every walk of life and in all sections of the state are being secured to petitions for the repeal of the represslonary law through which the tracks at Memphis and Nashvil were forced to close and which has likewise worked a great hardship on the various county fairs which derived a considerable revenue from racing Since the retirement of It M Williams as secretary of the TriState Fair Association which after the suspen ¬ sion of racing took over Montgomery Park the track which under the direction of Wllllnius was hard surfaced for trotting has been plowed up with the intention of reconverting it to the use of the ruu iiig horses
