It is understood that the Jockey club licensing committee will recaosMer the application of jockey Carroll Shilling, who may be licensed in time to have the mount on one of S. C. Hiblreths horses in the Carter Handicap mi Fri hn . Report has it that Shilling has patched up his tr.uble artth B. L. Thomas and that the latter will not oppose th,- granting of his license. Th.- boy is under a provisional contract to Mr. Hiidreth, which calls for 5,000 for the coining season. If he is allowed to ride. John K. Madden ami F. I.
