TRANCE had no mishaps, outbroke the others and was apparently going easilv until caught wucu she tired badly. JEANNE DARC finished with a great rush after being outrun for a half and would have been second in another stride. MISS NETT showed a great burst of early speed and always held second place safe, was shut off at the elbow by the ■winner and a claim of foul was made, which was not allowed. CHERISH was in a pocket for the tirst f.irlong. but finished resolutely and took third place in the last stride. PENNYROYAL, outrun to the last lurking, finished resolutely and should do soon.
