NOTES OF THE TURF. George Rose has put in an appearance at Aqueduct. Frederick Gobhanl. a well-known eastern turfman and clubman, is so seriously ill at New York that his recovery i despaired of. H. B. Duryeas Rose Noble. Thomas Hitchcock. Jr.s Irkaatak and Frank J. Goulds Jaattelen II. and Ingambe finished third in races at St. Cloud. France yesterday. Frank J. Gould has purchased in France the three-year-old colt. Ingambe. sired by todoman. for 7.-900. Mr. Gould is enthusiastically bent upon building up a large racing establishment in France. Nearly all of John A. Drakes two year olds that Enoch Wishard is training at Sheepshead Buy are on the hospital list. Those that are not afflicted with bucked shins have a peculiar eye trouble that |. lizzies the veterinarians. Copt. W. F. Presgrave has given the thoroughbred. Lord Chilton, a brother to Chilton Queen, to a Baltimore church, and the horse will be raffled off for the benefit of the building fund of the church. Lord Chilton is a bay colt by Chilton— Hanover Queen.
