CONDENSED HISTORY OF THE ADIRONDACK HANDICAP I + — * Salvidere was the best two-year-old of 19W and is the only winner of the Adirondack Handicap to carry more than 120 pounds. It is an event that, with the single exception noted, has always, bra carried off by the middle weights or low weights. But that dries not imply that its winners have been of mediocre class, its winner last year. Scarpia, has only run moderately well this year, but aside from Salvidere,-Smart Set, Molly Brant, Tangle and Beaucoup were capital race horses. The record of the Adirondack is as follows: Year.
