RACING GOSSIP FROM THE COAST. San Francisco. Cal.. SeptemlKT 20. — Burns and Walerhoiise will be renet seated by a big stable during the coming season at, Oakland track. John Clifford is handling a siring of nineteen for these Welt-known breeders and owners. There are seven I u.i year-olds ami twelve yearlings in the stable, and among them are a number that are related to Some high class racers, including a sister to Htimo. Some of the two-year-olds started last season. Tiw list Includes Maxdice. Eddie Dale, Rustinax. I.avrose. AbeSs and Altarec. Tan yearlings were recently taken up at the Hop-land Farm and the* are a line-looking lot. Following is the list : Chestnut colt, by First Tenor — Bit of Fashion. Ray colt, by Altainax — Prejudice. Brown colt, by Maxnic— Sweet Faverdale. Chestnut colt, by Maxnic — Rust ice. pay till v. by Maxnic — Sweet Rose. Fay lilly. by Altamax — Ella Roland. Brown filly, by Eddie Jones — Rowena. BMwn filly, by Eddie Jones — ShHwiris. Bay fillv. bv Eddie Jones — Humidity. Ray filly, by Eddie Jones — Callista. The two-year olds were taken up late last spring and they have developed greatly during the summer months. Secretary Treat has received a letter from Early Wright, who has been at Los Angeles during the summer months, stating that he would ship twelve horses to Oakland track shoot October 13. 0L C. Kelly, who will race hen for the first time, applied for stalls for seven horses. He has Too Late, Miss Ciles. Nettie !.. Toddy L., Sierra Sadie. Ravona and Lady Ravelston. The last-named three are yearlings.
