BENNING TO BE DISMANTLED Washington D C October 10 There is a report in circulation here to the effect that the stands and track buildings of the old Benuing course are to be dismantled next spring and sold as junk No part of the District of Columbia is building up so rapidly as that which lies about Kenning and Deamvood oh the fine macadamized Kenning road Tlie Benniug race track property has doubled in value since 190S the year of the last meeting of the Washington Jock Club and inasmuch as there is little likeli ¬ hood that Congress will ever enact laws making it possible to conduct successful racing in the District of Columbia the dub has no incentive for ketpUjg the racing plant intact There is nsuallv a horso colony at Benuing track but it Is alwavs a small one
