JUAREZ TRACK IS FAST El Paso Tex November 7 With the arrival of Manager JL J Winn Secretary Lyman H Davis and Judge W II Shelley Terrazas Park begins to assume the usual activity which presages the open ¬ ing of a racing season The ground and track are in the best of condition horsemen declaring the track ideal and predicting that when raced over it will 1 the fastest and safest in the countrv Noteworthy among the many improvements made since last season is the construction of a magnifi ¬ cent boulevard for automobiles and carriages fifty feet wide extending from El Paso to the track gates gatesThere There are now over 200 horses on the grounds and with over 1100 applications for stalls the iimiiii meeting will not suffer for lack of good racing ma ¬ terial Secretary Davis is busily engaged in tabu ¬ lating the many stake entries which still continue to arrive with each mail and announces that to date tin fifty stakes have averaged twentvone en tries representing the cream of the cast and middle west as well as the Pacific coast
