DUGAN TO REST ALL WINTER Xcw York December 29 Eddie Dugan is spend ¬ ing the winter in idleness He is under contract to ride for August Belmont next season and is drawing his salary in monthly Installments Dugan decided not to ride at the winter tracks for fear that n might get into trouble because of his rnuh rlditur tendencies He was further induced to ret i tein porarily by the decision of S C HildretK not t race until next spring Dugan had an offer to rid abroad in 1911 but Mr Jolmont notified bim that his services would bo required in this country Diigau after being suspended by the Jockey Club last summer did a lot of worryiu until he was reinstated He promised then to lie more careful iu future
