RAIN INTERFERES WITH TRAINING TRAININGLexington Lexington Ky April 17 The Kentucky Asso ¬ ciation track was a sea of mud this morning and there will be little improvement tomorrow because of another downpour this afternoon Many horses including those of E R Bradley that would have been worked had the track remained dry were kept in their stalls The move that stood out above all others inreality the only one of consequence this morning was that of White Heather Charles W Moores candidate for the Breeders Futurity Tliis son of McGce and Virginia Moore ran around the dogs a half mile in 54 with his mouth wide open at the finish He is a topnotch prospect prospectSuperintendent Superintendent Ross has moved the starting gate from the infield to the track and Tom Brown wil come here from Louisville tomorrow to school two yearolds every day dayHorsemen Horsemen who arrived last night from Charleston all expressed themselves as glad to return to Kcn KcnThe The HitchcockKnapp horses in charge of trainer W II Karrick are all in good condition and look as if thev will need but little work to make them fit Fashion Plate Sprite Kaiser and Bouncer are ex ¬ pected to be prominent in the racing here hereThe The twoyearold filly Miss Zanders from the stable of Will McDaniel unseated her rider this morning and ran away but was caught preventing possible injury to herself
