GOOD PBOSPECTS IN OKLAHOMA Oklahoma City Okla May 27 The twentyfive days Rico meeting which is scheduled to open here June G under tho auspices of Hie Oklahoma State Fair Association gives promise of being the best ever conducted In Ihis part of the country Thc three stakes all of whch have a value of 1000 closed reccnlly with 125 nominations which far ex ¬ ceeds anything in thc way of stake entries ever be ¬ fore seen in Oklahoma OklahomaThe The halfmile track is l elng widened on thc turns and stretches and when the work Is completed will be a much safer track to race over overThere There are now 175 horses here the majority of whom will require but little work to be lit and ready for opening day With the additions that will come within the next ten days there will be up ¬ wards of 300 horses on the grounds groundsThc Thc coming meeting will sec the inauguration of the parimutucl system of belling for Ihe first time in Oklahoma The officials will include E C Smith presiding judge Arthur Mclvnight starler P A Brady associate judge J L Hall paddock judge and E D Werner clerk of Ihe scales scalesThe The stable of J L Holland comprising slxlccn horses arrived here shortly after the close of the Charleston meeting Jockey V Moore accompanied tho stable Walter stableWalter Simms an American trainer arrived some time ago with seven horses from the City of Mexico Jockey Dave Nicol came with the stable and will do the riding
