MEADOW IN WINNING FORM Spokane Wash April 20 Lowering clouds hail a tendency to keep folks away from Alan today but with all the disadvantages of the weather the largest and most enthusiastic gathering of the present meeting turned out The racing on a whole was spirited the finishes in several instances being exceedingly close closeA A handicap at threequarters brought together as gK d a lot as there is at the track and five horse finished closely bunched Meadow which had been racing itoorly for some time was returned the win ¬ ner The race from start to finish was a thrilling one as the field ran closely bunched all the way Horsemen wayHorsemen are still arriving daily W 11 Fizor came in from Louisville with a carload of sixteen head The Wheat City Stable arrived this morning with fourteen A car also came from Salt Lake with the horses of Dan Dennison and Logan Denny
