DAUGHTER OF FRENCH TURFMAN DIES Countess Edouard do FitzJamos whose death is announced was the daughter of Baron Fiuot the father of steephvhasing in France and the owner of the famous stud at Lange where some of the best jumpers In France wore foaled Her mother was tho Countess of SaintGermain and her brother a gentleman rider of considerable merit in the days of the Third Empire Her brother riding for Baron Finot at Baden was fatally injured during tht race ami his sister hearing of the accident hastened to the bedside of her dying brother who lingered for several weeks with his back broken and other injuries Baron Finot had the opportunity of admiring the devotion of the sister to her brother and eventually married her One of their children a IKIJ died on the eve of the Grand Steeplechase de Paris Subsequently his daughter married Count de Fit James who now and again showed the famous colors he had adopted lu memory of his fatherinlaw whose name will never be for ¬ gotten by sportsmen London Sportsman
