ANOTHER CRACK SUNDRIDGE COLT Mr E Ilultons Longlown a colt by Sundridge Ladytown bred by the late Sir Taton Sykes was purchased at the last years Doncaster sales for 15500 and made a promising winning debut in the Berkshire Foal Stake at Newlmry June 12 the race being worth 4250 Mr J B Joel ran the Absurdity colt in preference to Our Lassie iolt which finished second in the Woodcote Stakes Tin Absurdity colt ran Longtowus stable com riaulfin Stornoway to a mck in the Great Surrey Foal Stakes at Kpsom and odds were Itet on him for the Newlmry race but he failed to reach the first three and Wool tons youngster starting at 100 to 8 scored in a canter The performance was a convincing one and there should be a big future before him The colt has 30 book engage ¬ ments Including next years Derby and St Leger
