DELORIMIER DATES FOR 1914 CLAIMED Montreal Que August 21 The management of the Montreal Driving Club is already making ar ¬ rangements for next season at Delorimier Park The club has claimed for the first meeting the dates from May 23 to 30 and for the second from June 27 to July 4 inclusive The plant is being over hauled and all of the old stables vyill he demolished and replaced by new ones at the north end of the course courseThe The Love horses which are being fitted for Blue Bonnets will remain hero until the opening of the hcal meeting meetingAlthough Although the meeting of the Montreal Jockey Club is nearly three weeks away there is much activity at Blue Bonnets The local owned horses which are eligible for the Kings Plate and the Provincial Nursery hi which the greatest local interest centers are being sent along at a lively clip These horses are well advanced in train ¬ ing ingThe The race for the Kings Plate is a more open oue this fall than for some time The best work has been done by Floral Crown a fouryearold owned by Charles S Campbell the owner of Bwana Tumbo Corn Broom and Lindesta now racing at Saratoga Irish Heart which won the Nursery a year ago Is another that has shown good work workThe The Americanowned horses which have been rested at Blue Bonnets since the close of the half mile track racing have all l een shipped to Ottawa for the meeting at Connaiight Park which pre ¬ cedes that at Blue Bonnets In the shipment are the horses owned by N B Davis J S Tyree Charles Reed Mike Minogue and John Phillips PhillipsThe The two twovearolds owned by S N Hblman a black filly by Celt Legend and a buy colt by Mazagan will be sent to Ottawa to race The tilly has shown several trails of five furlongs In fast time C Reed will semi Lord Wells to the same track These horses will all be brought back to Montreal for the meeting at Blue Bonnets from September 15 to 13 and for the live days racing at Dorval following Blue Bonnets The track at Blue Bonnets was never in better condition The stables have been overhauled and are ready for the re ¬ ception of horses even now Some will be shipped from Windsor to Montreal and will have the advan ¬ tage of a weeks rest
