: f T. C. MDOWELLS RECORD FOR 1913 f r The four-year-old filly. Star Jasmine, proved the best money earner in T. C. McDowells stable this year, but the popular Kentucky owners two-year-old filly, Gracilla, was not far behind iu money won and was a higher class animal. Some of her feats iu racing were good enough to suggest the possibility of her landing such a race as the Kentucky Oaks next year and she was beyond doubt one of the best of her age and sex iu training. Her victory over such two-year-olds at Saratoga as Uncle Mun, Fllttergold, Punch Bowl, Ralph, Corn Broom and Roamer was a highly meritorious performance. His other two-year-olds. Caution and The Norman, raced well enough to point to a nfbre than useful trio of three-year-olds In his lossession in 1914. The record of the McDowell stable for the year was: Horse. Col. and Sex.
