BANJO -JIM was prominent in the running and probably would have been closer up with a stronger rider. ORANGE showed speed and ran fairly well. THE GANDER was outpaced from the start. ETHELBURG II.. much the best, showed much speed and set he pace and but for losing much ground when turning into -the stretch would have won. VENETA STROME was forced back after rounding the first turn and made a fast finish. MAMA JOHNSON ran a good half and tired in the stretch drive. The others were outpaced all the way.
