NEW YORK DATES ARE ANNOUNCED Jockey Club Stewards Give Out Schedule Covering 132 Days of Racing on Eastern Tracks. New York, February IS. Dates for racing on eastern tracks this season were announced by the. stewards of the Jockey Club today as follows: Norfolk, beginning April 1, fifteen days. Havre de Grace, fifteen days. Pimlico, sixteen days. Belmont Park, beginning May 20, fifteen days. Jamaica, ten days. Aqueduct, fifteen days. Empire City, fifteen days. Saratoga, twenty-six days. Syracuse, three days. Piping Rock will have two days, June 3 and 6, without opposition and there will be a cessation o racing during the International polo matches. All told, there will be SO days of racing on the New-York tracks as against 55 days last year. The officials will be the same as last year "with, the exception that Mars Cassidy has been appointed starter. . . , . J. W. Hedrlck was cautioned to be careful in future in regard to intimidating horsemen in connection with selling races and the suspension of G. M. Johnson and his horse J. II. Barr was continued.
