» • I ! KENTUCKY RACING COMMISSION ORGANIZES. Louisville. Kv.. May 11.— The Kentucky State Racing Commission met today at noon at the _el-bach Hotel for the purpose of reorganizing for the next four years. Th-- new members. Jen. W. B, Haldcinaii of. Louisville and Judge Allie W. Young ol Moorehead, were sworn iii as successors to George J. Iisag of Louisville and Col. Milton Young of Lexington. Tile other members present were has. F. Grainger of Louisville. Johnson N. Camden of Versailles and Thomas Hart Talbot of Iaris. who were reappointed by Governor McCreary. Mr. Talbot is steward of the present Churchill Downs ineot- ing. The commission organized for tin- coming year by electing Johnson N. Camden of Versailles, as chairman; T. 11. Talbot of Boarboa County, as vice-chairman, and S. C. NuckoU. Jr.. of Versailles, as secretary t succeed J. Petkam Johnston. The application -if Carl Canz for a jockeys li cense was laid ever until the next meeting, which will 1h- subject to the call of the chairman. Secretary Nuckols stated during Hie afternoon that joekov Dave Nicol had received his riding license anil that an apprentice license was also granted to joekov Fuerst. The cases of lackeys K. Cimisc. C. Horel. K. Small and A. Wrispen win-not acted on.
