GOWELL AGAIN A WINNER WEAVER FILLY BEATS FAIR OPPOSITION IN HANDICAP AT DOUGLAS PARK. John W. McDowells Alkanet, brought with it a big runup, when the winner was advanced from an entered price of 00 to ,500. at which figure he was bought by J. J. Schorr, who has been eu.jo.vlug remarkable success with his stable lately, uncovered an-01 her possible crack in bis Eddie Belling, which won the second race over Solly. The winner, like the runner up, is by Pater Quince. Both raeetl impressively and are regarded highly by their connections. Jockey Neylou was fined 0 by the stewards after the last race 011 complaint of jockey Ohert that Neylon bad struck Galley Slave over the head during the stre-teh racing.
