Tom Brown. P. M. Civill and James S. EVerman are among those who will send horses here for the winter meeting at the Fair Grounds. This announcement is based on advices from Judge Joseph A. Murphy, the New Orleans racing manager, who is now at Latonia in tiie Interest of the local meeting. Work on the Fair Grounds track is progressing rapidly. Under the direction of the track committee, composed of Messs. Pcurce. Michaels, and Ma-ginnis, the course is being rounded out and packed. Plans for the clubhouse are now being drawn by the architect.
