McDOWELL YEARLINGS GO INTO TRAINING. Lexington, Ky November C Ten good-looking thoroughbred yearlings, owned by -T. C. McDowell, were transferred from Ashland Frfrm to the Ken-tuckv Association track this morning to be. trained. Among them are two slashing, .colts. by Voter, one out of Ecstacv, and the other out of Lady Anne. The Ogden Kings Daughter filly, the first foal of that good mare, is a racy-looking individual. The Waterbov Fancywood colt is a good one and the Marathon Monarda colt is promising, as is the Planudes Countess Irma filly. G. W. J. Bissell is here from Latonia to take up his yearlings, which, with four older horses, are to be shipned in two weeks to Charleston. John C. Gallaher arrived from Latonia this morning with Sun Queen, Princess Callaway and other horses and left at noon for Pimlico, whither he had shipped Howdy Howdy and Daisy Piatt. James MacManus Belloc. which has been turned out at Beaumont Farm for several months, was fired vesterday. Phil T. Chinn and John V. Ryan, secretary of the Canadian Breeding Bureau, are here today on business concerning the purchase of war horses for the French government. ; : ; 1
