JUVENILES IN THE EAST New York March 4 Foxhall P Keene has not yet selected names for all the juveniles that Will carry the white and polkadotted silks made famous by Sysonby Colin and many other speedy thorough ¬ breds This years racing in the east will inark tills first appearance of these colors in this state since August 1010 In that month and year the entjre stable in training of the late James H Keene was sold SpringsThe at public auction at Saratoga Springs The son of the late financier is by no means a novice in thoroughbred racing For many years he was in partnership with his father and when Domino won the Futurity it was under their joint ownership Seven royally bred twoyearolds will carry the Keene silks this year and they have been liberally nominated for all the juvenile events eventsHut Hut as yet Mr Keene has announced the names of only three of the youngsters Of the three that have been named Brannen a bay son of Aoter ami Debacle may possibly go to the post in his initial start under another cognomen It is said that his owner is casting about for a more suitable name This youngster as a yearling displayed dazzling speed in his work over the Kentucky courses and Is said to he the star of the string His dam has produced several good winners and all her get seems pos ¬ sessed with abundant speed The colt is a half brother to Haubridge Judge AYright and the recent winner at Juarez Ghetto Girl GirlPussinHoots PussinHoots a bay filly by Peter Pan and Star Cat is the second member of the string to be named This halfsister to Star Jasmine brought 4000 as r yearling and is the highest priced member of the establishment She is racy looking TIpperary is a bay colt by Ben Brush Acnshla while the four un ¬ named members of the stable are a bay colt by Sweep Lamp Girl bay lillv by Peter Pan Mildred Shults chestnut colt by Delhi Anthem and a brown filly by Disguise Wild Bess The last named lilly was purchased for K 0 last fall and great things are expected of her by the stable stableAnother Another owner whose stable will be composed mainly of twoyearolds is J L Holland Last spring at Belmont Park he disposed of his entire stable including Gainer Hauberk and Donald Mac donald Mr Holland maintains a breeding establish ¬ ment and the youngsters he will race this year were foaled on his farm in Oklahoma They are the get of Hilarious and Martinet and undoubtedly there are some good ones among them Mr Holland will quite likely add to his stable during the year He has taken over the contract of AV J OBrien and that lad will do the most of the stables riding ridingJ J G Greener will race the first of the get of Countless this year and in Cosmic he has a chestnut son of that good performer out of Mjosen
