OREGON HORSE BREEDERS ORGANIZE ORGANIZELast Last month at the Oregon Agricultural College an organiaztlon was formed called the Oregon Horse Breeders Association The horsemen of the state decided that It was time to form on association to look after its horse interests There have been a good many thing come up recently that needed an organization of this kind and it is believed the or ¬ ganization would create interest In sound pure bred horses It Is the idea of the association to promote good horses along all lines Legislative problems also need an association of this kind as legislators will look upon it as an official expression of the h rse Interests and It will get results where the in ¬ dividual brwder could not notThe The officers of the association that were elected to hold ollice one year are as follows President John Wells Alicel vicepresident M Burge Klckreall secretary Carl N Kennedy Corvallls treasurer Cowle Buchanan Coriallis In order that the association would IK statewide a hoard of five directors was elected one from each congression ¬ al district and two at large as follows First dis ¬ trict H T Adkinon Wasco seeimd district A J Kagan Gervais third district Dr A G Smith Portland at large S L Brooks Imhler and Dr K 1 Hunt Koseburg KoseburgEvery Every person interested in the breeding of good KHMS or in the promotion of iKrises in Ihe state may beiome a member of the association by the payment of dues The dues were made 1 which will cover the cost of keeping the association run ¬ ning Kural Spirit
