ROCHESTER, after racing in near pursuit of the leaders from the start, came wide when entering the homestretch, bat responded gamely to urging and was going away at the linish. PESKY set a fast pace and raced PEACEFUL STAR into defeat in the early running, then drew out at the eighth post, but tired when challenged. WHIMSY ran wide throughout and Baisbed last. FRIAR ROCK was in a jam at the start, but closed a big gap and ran a good race. BLIMf closed a big gap. COSMIC only ran fairly weii. peaceful star ran a fast naif.
