It is quite reasonable to infer that the failure of Trojan to stand to training as a three-year-old was a severe setback to the hopes of the stable. In his absence it was left to the Burgomaster gelding, W wden Shoes, to till the position of chief money winner for the year. He roeiil usefully and luckily, which is about all that can be said for him. In fact, little more can be said for any the horses in the stable, but there arc possibilities in the way of improvement in the eases of the two-year-olds. Success and Ronnie Toss.
