BUTLER HORSES GO TO EMPIRE CITY. New York. January 31. -All of James Butlers horses have been moved from Eastview Farm to the Fmpire City Hack and are now in charge of John McCormack. Among them are ten two-year-olds and twentv in the older division. B. McDennotl. who will ride for Mr. Butler, will report to the stable at the close of the New Orleans meeting. B. J. Mackenzie and his trainer. Jack Adkins. returned from a trip to French Lick Saturday. Mr. Mackenzie will remain in New York for a week or two. Adkins went to loalailHf. where the Mackenzie horses are wintering. Foxhall P. Keeae i- visiting B. T. Wilson iu South Carolina. He is on a hunting trip and will be away lor nearly a month. Ed Purcell. oue or the old school trainers, i-alone at the Jamaica track with two horses. "I am alone." says be. "ami if I have a good horse. not a soul will know anything about him."
