MORE RAIN AND MUD AT D0RVAL PARK. Flying Feet Proves Victor in the Chief Race of the Day — Elite Bonnets Stand Ready. Montreal. Que., May 30. — The races at Dorvnl Tark this afternoon were run over a deep and heavy track. A steady dowiqiour. which fell all night and this morning, ruined all chanees for a good track in the next few days. Small fields ruled, but they were well matched and interest ing finishes resulted. A majority of the races were billing affairs at short distances. The feature was a dash of a mile, run «s the fifth race, which brought out a field of seven. It was the heat betting race of the afternoon, with Luther, a recent arrival from Jamaica, ruling a hot favorite. II. G. Bcilwell furnished the winner in his good mud runner Fly ing Feet, which came from liehind while rounding the far turn to win easily by a couple of lengths from Tito. The latter was ridden by I-nsor. It was the lads second mount and. considering the heavy going, he rode a really good race. Several takers arrived at Blue Bonnets this morning from Toronto. Among them am the horses owned by I»r. J. S. Tyree. Paul Towers. tfearge m. liendrie and E. W. Moore. All shipped well. Tiie grandstand at Mae Bonnets has lx-en completed and is ready for the opening. It is a concrete structure, somewhat longer than the old stand. The eourse presents a beautiful appearance. Much attention has been paid to the infield and the steeple, hase races there this spring should prove strong a tt. -act ions. H. B.
