PAULSON AN ORIENTAL PARK WINNER. Mink Rides Two Winners — Stones Stable Takes Two Races — Races Well Contested. Havana. Cuba. March 111. — The Canadian turfman. It. Hanley. effected one of the best tliia-s of the nteetktg, when Panama won the fourth race at Oriental Park this afternoon. It was a dash of five and a half fnrlongs, in which Paafama met a fast band. Be was ridden by Mink and led the others for tie- entire way and won with speed in reserve by three lengths from Afterglow. Pnnlaoa was barked from S to 3, at which price he went to the l ost favorite. Mink also had the mount on Shadraeh, winner ot n» tin -econd race. V I lie W. O. Stoni r st.ibf was much in the linie- lislit and furnished the winner in the opening race m 1-router, while Lucille It., from the same stable, won the third. Well-backed horses swept the card and a majority of the races fnrnished good contents. Tie- closest finish f the afternoon came in the sixth, when Bagger beat Cant. Predtricks by a nose. The Cuba- nieriean Jockey Club has extended an invitation to lames w. Gerard, es ambassador to Uetmaay, to attend the races at Oriental Park tomorrow.
