LIKELY STARTERS IN HAMILTON DERBY. Secretary Loudon of the Hamilton Jockey Club sends on word that this years renewal of the Hamilton Derby, feature race of opening day at the Canadian track next Tuesday, will probably see the following f SI las the barrier: . Rondage, Smart Money. Judge Wingfield. Liberty Loan. Rickety. Wosty Hogan. Iron Cross II., Atwell, Aravan, Fruit Cake and Opportunity. The Hamilton Derby is at a mile and a quarter and is for three-year-olds. It is worth ,000 in added money, with $.".00 to second. 00 to third. aad 00 to fourth. It costs 0 to start in the race. Starters for the race will be announced next Monday at 10 oclock. If Liberty Loan starts in the race the son of Dick Finnell will undoubtedly be favorite. The winner of the Latonia Derby, however, may have no easy time. In his Latonia Derby race, which was at a mile and a half, he showed that he was rather partial to a long distance of ground, and the Hamilton event, being a quarter of a mile shorter than the Latonia Derby, may make a difference. Witt stable room at a premium at Hamilton the coining meeting should prove a most successful one. Shipments of horses are arriving daily, many coming from the New York tracks.
