BALSCADDENS SIRE DEAD IN IRELAND. The death has taken place in Ireland of the sire Pilot, by Pell Mell Arondelle, by Scottish Chief. He was foaled in 1889 and so was in his twenty-eighth year. The best of the progeny of Pilot was the versatile Rnlscadden, a high-class winner on the flat, over hurdles and across country. Tliowl Pin and Lord Charles were also good winners begotten by the defunct sire and the latter is one of the most consistent performers in recent years over the Punchestown course.
