CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. It is expected that the horses just purchased by S. C Hildreth from August Belmont will engage in a winter campaign, probably at Havana, under the direction of Dave Leary, who has been Mr. Hil-dreths right-hand man for many years. S. I. Riddles colt Reveler, by Sweeper La Ribaude, has been showing improving form in his recpnt races and little wonder was excited when he was bid up after winning a selling race Thursday. Good judges regard the colt as quite promising and capable of beating better opposition than he has yet encountered. G. A. Marshall is about to ship, his good filly Marie Miller from Saratoga to Havre de Grace, to await the opening of the fall racing season in Maryland. The filly is in superb condition, but her owner is convinced that she does not like the "euppy" going of the Saratoga track and so he has given up the idea of further participation in the racing there.
