BELMONTS ENGLISH-BRED YEARLINGS Lexington. Ky.. June 1. — In the car with the stallions C.nnpfire and P.i.stouri, which came re-spe.-liM-ly to Kirklevington Farm and Nuisery Stud last Thursday. John Miller brought four yearlings by Trae-ery belonging to Major August Belmont and they have been turned out at Nurse-ry Stuel. They arrived n-e-ently from England and are- the produce. of tin- following mares: Cattish, by Melton — Spite--f 11I. by Jeeblah; Callows Hill, by Galashiels — Calinp-ton, by Carbine: Moncta. by Siiearmint — Jubilee, by Diamond Jubilee, and Itoyal Coinage, by Minting-1 Hoyal Marriage-, by Pietermuritzburg. Three are eolts. that of Cattish being a filly. Thi-y ar-riveel looking thin as a result of their long journey, hut they arc- horses of good conformation and a short while in the blue grass section of Kentucky will bring thorn out in tip-top eonalition. Miller also brought down from New York a eouple of mares which found new owners at the s-ile at P.ilmont Park last Monday. They MR Anna Sain ami her bay colt by Aeronaut, pur chased by II. P. Gardner out of the Chest. -rbrook Stud ,!is]M-rs.il. and Queen of the Water, which W. 15- Miller bought out of the consignment of Lieut. Giffotd A. Cochran. Anna Sain went to J. O. Ke-enes Keeuelund Farm and Queen of the Water went to Ueaumout Farm.
