ENGLISH HORSES WINNING IN BRAZIL The Grande Prernio Quinquagenario Grand Prize TAKh year of Brazil of one mile and seveneighths value 57500 run at Rio de Janeiro last August wjis won easily by three lengths from nine others by Dr Lima Rochas fouryearold Pactolo late Morris Dancer by Llangibby Le Danseuse which was purchased from E Robson of Wantage England IyW M Maddock and exported to Brazil In 1916 The threeyearold filly Irish Pearl now named Scutari by Uangibby Zona also won last August the race Kmulacao at Rio de Janeiro value 1500 The filly which has won several other important races in Rio was purchased from J J Parkinson of the Ciirragb Ireland by W M Maddock and sent to Brazil in 1917
