BLUE RIBBON WON BY ADAMS EXPRESS New York November 14 The United States government stallion Adams Express won the blue ribbon at the National Horse Show today for the best horse exhibited in the class for stallions suit ¬ able to produce remounts Among those he defeated was Uncas Chief which won the coveted prize last year and Bulgaria The latter and Adams Express are both by the great stallion Adam which was imported about ten years ago from Fnince by the Newcastle Stable then owned by Fnmk C Bishop Audrey Miller and the late Blair Painter Adams Express was a successful horse in this country winning many races Only recently he was pre ¬ sented to the government by J C Hallenbeck a son of the late H C Hallenbeck whose colors Adams Express carried to victory in several of the imiwrtant events for two and threeyearolds
