SMOKED SHARK FLESH AS FOOD One of the Bureau of Fisheries agents operating in Alabama Georgia and Tennessee has recently placed an order for about 1800 pounds of smoked shark meat The colored folk are especially fond of the meat meatMention Mention may be made of the skates rays ami sharks which when prepared for use after a man ¬ ner to which they particularly lend themselves are among the most palatable of food fishes A surprise awaits the person who has yet to eat a portion of lightly salted lightly smoked shark or ray The extensive use of sharks will make available larger quantities of fish on which the sharks subsist and a double benefit will thus result
