FRENCH BREEDER GOES TO IRELAND LONDON. England. Febntnry 10. Raron Raeyens of Paris, who is well known in French racing circles, is about starting an extensive stud farm at Friars-field In County Tipperary, Ireland. The property is about 170 acres in extent, with well-equipped and ample stabling. About forty years ago horso breeding was carried on on a big scale, and many well-known stallions had their quarters at the place, among the number being Lord Ronald sire of Master Kiidare, Joco winner of the Great Metropolitan Stakes, Sunstroke a son of Thor-manby, and Rhiddorroeh which sired many useful chasers, and the dams of several winners.
