March ."..-At a meeting of the executive committee of the National Steeple-cha-e and Hunt Association, held yesterday, s.iuction wa- granted tor steeplechases at the following meetings; Maryland Jockey club. Hay 1 to 18; Qaeea* County Jockey I lull. June 24 to July 13 and September 10 to 30. The follow -ing applications for certificates as geii-Ccnian rider- were granted, subject to the approval of the Hunts Committee: Wm. R. Martin. James Park. Fred Alper*. James ;. Letper, Jr.. S J. Stich. R. II. R. Toland. F. Ambrose Clark, Gilbert Mart Iter and Karl hittendale. The following licenses were granted: Jockeys — Charles Rnaoot, Dalh-tt Byera ami P. Brady. Trainer -W. J. Stonebi idge. J. Howard Lewis, P. Bray and Carr.er DiggS, The hearing a-ked for by W. M. Carter on his application tor a license as a trainer, which he had requested, was po-tponod until the next mooting of the steward-, at the request of Mr. Carter Frank .1. Bryan was appointed steward to represent the National Steeplechase and Hunt Aaoorla tiou at the race meetings of the Maryland Jockey Club and the .Ulceus County Jockey Club.
