BROAD VIRGINIA GAME PRESERVE PLAN RICHMOND, Fa., March 10.— Instead of setting aside well stocked areas as game refuges t he State of Virginia is planning some game preserves. Owners of tracts of from 200 to 4oo acres in each of the 1 10 odd magisterial districts are being sought who will beqUeoth to the commonwealth exclusive shooting privileges 011 such trots. The state will then post the areas and plant thereon mat ed pairs of quail, which the state will secure from Texas. The quail are to be fed for the first few weeks. but ii" attempt will be made to keep them within the preserve. , n the theory that if they are hunt d outside the preserve they will speedily learn tin-places when- they are not disturbed.
