HORSES PERISH IN NEW ORLEANS FIRE HOT SPKIXCS Ark April C II Kuebel kamp associated with L Howerton in the owner ¬ ship in an extensive string of horses was advised this afternoon ly long distance telephone that Un ¬ stable his hors s occupied at the New Orleans Fair Crounds h d been destroyed by fire and that Lucille 1 Preci us and Hetty Y the latter a two yearold filly b McCee Monomono for which an offer of iU 0 1 ad recently been turned down were burned to death The extent of the conflagration at the Fair Crounds was not learned but it is thought that other owners also suffered as a result of the flames for the bam in which the Knebel kampIIowerton charges were quartered was in the thickest of the stable location The horses burned were to have been shipped this afternoon to Lexington
