MONEY FOR THE HORSE SHOW NEEDED LEXINGTON Ky May 3 Major Gordon II McCoy ith Field Artillery Camp Xachary Taylor was at the course today in the interest of the Ken ¬ tucky Army Horse Show whjch is to be hold at Churchill Downs June 1M 12 12i i and 1ti and which is open also for civilian as well as military entries From a military point of view said Major McCoy this is to be the greatest horse show ever held in this country and we are hopeful that it will receive sufficient civilian support and cooperation to make it tlii greatest in every respect ever held in this country countryIjouis Ijouis Lee Haggin who accepted the task of creating the premium fund for this show today stilted that he is yet in need of J000 to complete the program that has been outlined lie is hopeful that those lovers of the horse who have not yet sent in their subscriptions will mail their checks forthwith to him that the premium list may shortly be announced The purpose of the show is to aid in the building of a memorial to the men of the First Division of the Tinted States army who gave up their lives in the great war
