MONEY WINNERS AT LEXINGTON OLD TRACK RECORDS THE BEST DAILY A VERAGE IN ITS HISTORY WITH J M GOODE LEADING THE OWN ¬ ERS AND SANDS OF PLEASURE THE HORSES The Lexington spring meeting covered ten days in the course of which seventy races were run These brought into the pockets of winning owners the comfortable total of 80190 a daily average of 8011 In all respects except good racing weather the meeting is said to have been the most suc ¬ cessful in the long history of the track The unexpected success of Sands of Pleasure in the Camden Handicap gave J M loode the primacy in the list of winning owners the Texas owner G L Hlackford landing in second place through the speed of his twoyearold Centimeter S K Nichols found it a pleasant meeting and took third place while General Haigs two victories in good races made W Stoner a good fourth Other owners who fared well were M II Fletcher W F Poison V V Thraves H L Haker and M J Lowenstcin The owners who won 500 or more Owner 1st 2d 3d
