FORT ERIES GRAND MEETING Daily Average of Over 11000 Distributed During Seven Days J K L Ross Tops Winning Own ¬ ers Paul Weidel the Horses Butwell the Riders The Niagara Racing Associations first meeting at Fort Erie in nearly three years was a huge success in every way The attendance was the largest in the history of tlie course tlie volume of speculation in proportion to the large concourse of people present daily while the racing was of a high standard clean and wholesome The meet ¬ ing opened on July 3 and came to an end July 10 during which time 78140 a daily average of 11102 was distributed in slakes and purses pursesCommander Commander J K L Ross horses won the most money at the meeting leading the list with 6800 the following being tlie owners who won 900 or more each
