SEEK BUYER FOR THE BEACH STABLE Trainer Lloyd Gentry Says It Would Be an In justice to Separate Horses at the Present Time NEW YORK N Y July 24 Former Jockey Lloyd Gentry trainer of the stable of the estate of the late J K Elwell was at Empire City Wednesday He was seeking a purchaser for the stable so that he might continue the training of the horses which include the sprinter Flags LErraiit a good handicap horse the crack three yearold Hight Over Might and several twoyear olds among which is St Donard a winner during the recent Latonia meeting The horses are at present quartered at Saratoga where they are to be sold at public auction during the meeting at the theMr Mr Gentry says the horses have been appraised and an upset price fixed on each of them While he would not disclose the price set by Messrs Kradley and McDowell who wen commissioned to fix the price he said that it was reasonable and that he fame from Saratoga to Empire City to see if he could not get some one interested in thor ¬ oughbreds to take over the entire stable He said that he was anxious to continue training the horses from the fact that he had worked with them for so long in getting them in racing condition and now that they were in winning form he con ¬ sidered it would be an injustice to break the stable up anil let it fall into the hands of some trainer not familiar with the moods and capa ¬ bilities of the horses Gentry talked to several turfmen but did not say whether he had interested interestedanyi anyi sufficiently to get them to buy the stable stableas as a whole
