KINGS BELLE outstayed WISE DOVE in the final drive. The latter bolted to the outside at the start and her rider lost both of his stirrups, then closed a big gap and was coming fast in the final strides. RUNMIC quit badly in the last quarter. YUNG CHING set the early pace and was taken back and saved to the last eighth, then closed up in the closing strides and outstayed LA RABLEE in the final drive. LA RABLEE swerved out at the start and showed a high flight of speed for the first quarter in racing into the lead, but tired from the early effort near the end. HOODWINK was a forward contender all the way. but tired slightly in the stretch drive. ROYAL DUCK showed speed. SWEET MUSIC was not persevered with when beaten. ANNIVERSARY began slowly and finished fast. LOTTERY was badly outrun for the first three-quarters, but closed up resolutely ou the outside and easily passed SEA QUEEN. The latter saved much ground on the turns and had no mishaps. DEBADOU set a great pace from the start and held on gamely when challenged, but was swerving out all through the. last quarter.
