The latter, from a fast beginning, showed the niost speed, but was tiring through the" last sixteenth. PIMLICO was far back for the lirst three-eighths, but closed a big gap and came fast through the stretch. JOE AVHIPPLE quit badly. MABEL JOSEPHINE ran a good race. CON-TRIOT ran well for a half. LANCELOT showed fine speed in pacemaking and held on well in tiic final drive. OAK-LAWN BELLE raced forwardly from the start and finished fast. MALAOLIO raced gamely and had no mishaps.
