COMPLETE ENGLISH FIGURES ! Sir R. Jardine, Cinna, Donoghue and Polymelus the Leading Winners. LONDON, England. December 0. The English flat racing season closed November 27 and only action will be under National Hunt or meetings outside the governance of the Jockey Club until March 11 next, when regular racing is resumed, as 1 is usual, at Lincoln, with the Lincolnshire Handicap on its third day. This year regular racing began March 22. It. was a peculiar season in many ways. 1 In its early days, and until the autumn and great railway strike, the betting and crowds were enor- 1 moils. After that a wave of economy seemed to 1 settle over England and the crowds fell off a good deal and betting totals were cut in three. There was also a falling off in general racing values. The total of money raced for was higher than in 101-1, the year before the war. Sir It. W. P.. Jardine led the owners who won oyer 5,000 during the eight months. There were : twenty-eight in the list, which follows: Owners. Horses. It; s. Amis. Sir It. W. P.. Jardine 15 2! 0,300 Lord Derby 17 30 SI. 275 Sir W. Nelson 5 8 lio.oio James White 17 33 54.885 AY.
