LITTLE BLACK SHEEP showed a line burst of early speed and, after, being passed, came again in the stretch run and was gradually wearing the winner down. MISS COLIN was a forward and game contender for the entire race. MARYLAND BELLE ran well. GLADBUOOK gained slowly. ASHLIN finished fast. PECCANT raeed into the lead, when -called on and. Jumping faultlessly, easily held the race eufe through the final half mile. PERKIOMEN was taken back and saved, then moved up when going to the tenth; fence and finished resolutely. LYTLE was under stout restraint for the first turn of the field, but was cut off when he attempted to make his rush, then came fast, but too late OVERMATCH showed the most speed for over a mile, but tired badly near the end.
